Welcome to Maganyu.com: These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.maganyu.com (the “Platform”) and all related services offered by Maganyu.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
Agreement to Terms: By accessing or using the Platform, you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Platform.
Changes to Terms: We may revise and update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Connecting Communities: Maganyu.com is an online platform that connects individuals and businesses (“Task Posters”) seeking to outsource tasks with skilled individuals (“Taskers”) who are willing to complete those tasks. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Handyman services (e.g., furniture assembly, mounting, repairs)
- Cleaning services
- Delivery Services
- Removalists
- Gardening Services
- Auto Electrical Work
- Creative Services (e.g., design, writing)
Role of Maganyu.com: We act as an intermediary platform and do not directly employ any Taskers. We are not a party to any agreements entered into between Task Posters and Taskers.
No Employment Relationship: Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create an employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, or joint venture between Maganyu.com and any User.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Malawi to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Account Registration: You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers or networks connected to the Platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other User accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Platform.

Task Posting: Task Posters are responsible for creating clear and accurate descriptions of the Tasks they post on the Platform, including setting a budget that reflects the scope of work.
Task Bidding: Taskers may submit bids to complete posted Tasks. Taskers are responsible for ensuring their bids are accurate and reflect their skills and experience.
Communication: Task Posters and Taskers are encouraged to communicate directly through the Platform’s messaging system to discuss Task details, timelines, and any other relevant information.
Task Completion: Taskers are responsible for completing accepted Tasks to the best of their abilities, in a timely manner, and in accordance with the agreed-upon terms.

Payment Processing: Maganyu.com uses a secure third-party payment processor to facilitate payments between Task Posters and Taskers.
Platform Fees: Maganyu.com may charge fees for the use of the Platform. These fees may include, but are not limited to:
- Commission Fees: A percentage of the Task payment may be deducted as a commission for using the Platform.
- Subscription Fees: Task Posters or Taskers may have the option to pay a subscription fee for enhanced features or benefits.
Payment Terms: The payment terms for each Task will be agreed upon between the Task Poster and the Tasker before the Task commences.
Taxes: Task Posters and Taskers are solely responsible for determining and paying all taxes and other government fees associated with Tasks performed through the Platform.

Ownership: Unless otherwise agreed to in writing between the Task Poster and the Tasker, the Task Poster retains all ownership rights to any intellectual property created in connection with a Task.

No Warranties: The Platform and all content and services provided through the Platform are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
Disclaimer of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maganyu.com and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility thereof.
User Conduct: Maganyu.com is not responsible for the conduct of any User on or off the Platform.

Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
Termination by Maganyu.com: We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Platform, in whole or in part, without notice, for any or no reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malawi, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Maganyu.com relating to your access to and use of the Platform.
